Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex
In September 2017, on 22 acres of land adjacent to the main campus, Mount Mercy opened a premier outdoor athletic complex that is home to Mustang baseball, softball, men’s and women’s track & field, men’s and women’s soccer, and women's lacrosse. Football will begin competition in 2026. Turf fields highlight the complex, which also includes a multi-event throws area for track & field and automated video systems at baseball and softball (MuscoVision) and the soccer stadium (Hudl Focus). Six locker rooms and an athletic training room are also located on-site. Busse Field, the home of Mustang softball, has hosted four Heart of America Softball Championships (2019, 2021, 2022, 2024) and will play home to the 2025 conference championship. The multi-purpose stadium, which includes Hadzic Field, hosted the 2023 Heart of America Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
