Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth in the Seminole Valley Stampede

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa | The Mustang's Men's Cross Country team takes eighth in the Men's 8K race at the Seminole Valley Stampede with 195 points. 

Brady Cortez was the first Mustang to finish 27th with a time of 25:52.0. Close behind Cortez was Ryan Clancy, finishing 31st with a time of 25:55.9. The remaining top five runners were Dylan Bledsoe (41) at 26:11.8, Ryan Mitchell (46) at 26:14.2, and Lukas Lamparek (72) at 26:53.0. 

The 17th-ranked Aquinas won the meet with 45 points, followed by 18th-ranked St. Francis (111), St. Xavier (134), 10th-ranked Lewis (144), and Indiana Tech (184) for the top five teams in the meet. 

The Mustangs are back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 26th, for the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic at the Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The race is expected to start at 9:30 AM CDT.
