Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth in the Seminole Valley Stampede

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa | The Mustang's Men's Cross Country team takes eighth in the Men's 8K race at the Seminole Valley Stampede with 195 points. 

Brady Cortez was the first Mustang to finish 27^th with a time of 25:52.0. Close behind Cortez was Ryan Clancy, finishing 31^st with a time of 25:55.9. The remaining top five runners were Dylan Bledsoe (41) at 26:11.8, Ryan Mitchell (46) at 26:14.2, and Lukas Lamparek (72) at 26:53.0. 

The 17^th-ranked Aquinas won the meet with 45 points, followed by 18^th-ranked St. Francis (111), St. Xavier (134), 10^th-ranked Lewis (144), and Indiana Tech (184) for the top five teams in the meet. 

The Mustangs are back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 26^th, for the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic at the Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The race is expected to start at 9:30 AM CDT.
