Mustangs Tournament Run Ends in Semifinals

ADDISON, Ill. - The tournament run for the Mustangs varsity men's bowling team would come to a close in the semifinals of the Warhawk Open.

After a series of baker games, the Mustangs would enter bracket play as the top overall seed. Facing Davenport in the opening round of bracket play, the Mustangs would win both matches with scores of 202 and 196. The Mustangs would then face off against St. Ambrose in the semifinals, falling in both games, 228-227 and 211-182. The Bees of SAU would go on to win the tournament in two games.

Blake Walsh would end the tournament with the fifth-highest pinfall average in tournament history, going on to headline the all-tournament team. The Mustangs will return to the lanes on December 18 at the Glenn Carlson Invitational in Las Vegas.
