Dance team takes first, third at Day of Duals

SEWARD, Neb. -- Mount Mercy defeated the College of Saint Mary in one dual and finished third in a trio with Grand View and Hastings at Concordia's Day of Duals on Saturday.

With a score of 77.83, the Mustangs beat Saint Mary, who finished at 64.87 in their dual. Grand View won the trio with a final score of 88.67. Hastings scored 82.37 and Mount Mercy was third at 78.33.

"Both our competitive cheer and dance teams had an incredible weekend at Concordia, each taking home first place wins in their duals and earning highly competitive scores in their trios," said Head Spirit Squad coach Michaela Carle. "We strive to get better and better each day and because of the work each team has put in, the scoresheet took care of itself."
