WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Mustang women's basketball team fell to Grand View at home on Tuesday, 73-67. Sam Kiel was lights out from the floor, leading the team with 15 points on 5-6 shooting, including 3-3 from beyond the arc. Kiel also added in three rebounds and two steals. Claudia Vanzant had yet another impressive game, registering her third double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds, including six rebounds on the offensive end. The other Mustang in double figures was Sadie Struchen, who contributed 13 points on 5-11 from the floor, including three made shots from beyond the arc. Annika Headington was close to a triple-double, registering eight points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Mustangs fell in another heartbreaker, this time to Grand View, 59-58. Aidan Yamilkoski led all scorers in the game with 18 points on six made field goals, including three from beyond the arc. He would be joined in double figures by Jaxson Fried (12) and Jordan Willis (10). Willis had a stellar game on the defensive end, tacking on eight rebounds and a pair of blocks, contesting nearly every shot in the paint. Miles Dear and Jaxson Fried were also solid on the rebounding battle, each tallying six boards. Yamilkoski would lead the team in steals with three.

The Mustang basketball team will return to the court with a road matchup with Graceland on December 4.
